Christopher York is a New York State Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), and a Charted Global Management Accountant (CGMA). In 1982, Chris graduated Magna Cum Laude from CUNY Bernard M. Baruch College with a BBA in Accounting and is now the owner of his accounting firm, C York CPA, P.C. Chris is well known for his prestigious accomplishments in a wide range of accounting and financial services. He worked in both a national CPA firm and local accounting firms before starting his own. In 1986, he started handling clients who were interested in his knowledge and expertise. Chris founded C York CPA, P.C. in 1997. He continuously maintains over 40 CPE credits annually to keep up with the accounting and tax industry. With 40 years of experience, he is more than happy to help any client with careful analysis and diligence.

Richard graduated from Doane University with a BBA in Economics in 1973. Then he graduated from Pace University with a MBA in Accounting in 1977. He has worked with many different sole practitioners in the past. Currently, he holds the longest record working at C York CPA and is still going strong. Richard strictly prepares both complicated business and individual tax returns. During his free time, he does clowning for charity in a children’s hospital.

Gene graduated from Touro College with a BBA in Accounting in 1979. He worked in Sotheby’s International Realty for 10 years. In 1990, he became the senior accountant at Tourneu Watches. With more than 36 years of experience in accounting, Gene prepares highly complex tax returns and alleviates complicated taxation problems. Aside from accounting, he is interested in French antiques.

Phillip graduated from York College with a BBA in Accounting in 1987. He worked for a CPA firm from 1986 to 1989. Then he moved on to working at an advertising agency for 20 years and was promoted from a junior accountant to a project manager. Phillip has worked at C York CPA since 2012. He focuses on payroll calculations, sales tax, correspondence with the IRS/NYC, clients’ power of attorney, inquiries about our services and payments, and individual tax returns. He likes collecting and listening to various genres of music during his free time.

Tracey graduated from Baruch College in 1985 with a BBA in marketing. She was the assistant manager at an import/export jewelry wholesale firm for about 10 years. She has been working at C York CPA for about 15 years as an accountant ever since. At C York CPA, she handles the bookkeeping and prepares individual tax returns.

Ken is the head of the IT department, providing technical support for our team and our processes. He ensures security and provides confidentiality for our clients and the company’s records. He also maintains the health of our systems, therefore, everything is running at its finest performance.
